How to open ToolKITZ

ToolKITZ isn't notarized by Apple, so the first time you open it, your Mac stops it and asks you to approve it. It's a one-time, one-minute fix. After this, it opens normally.

Download ToolKITZ

  1. Open the download and double-click ToolKITZ

Open ToolKITZ.dmg?v=1.0.0 from your Downloads, drag ToolKITZ into Applications, then double-click it there.

  2. If a message pops up, click Done

macOS says “ToolKITZ.app” Not Opened and that Apple could not verify it. That's expected for an app that isn't notarized. Click Done. If your Mac also shows Move to Trash, don't click it.

    “ToolKITZ.app” Not Opened

Apple could not verify “ToolKITZ.app” is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.

Prefer Terminal? One command instead

Drag ToolKITZ into Applications first, then paste this into Terminal and press Return:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ToolKITZ.app
My Mac moved an older download to the Trash

Delete that copy and download ToolKITZ again. The current version opens with the steps above.
