ToolKITZ 1.0 puts a drawer at the top of the Mac screen
ToolKITZ, a new Mac app, launches today. It adds a drawer to the top of the screen: scroll down at the top edge, or press a shortcut, and it drops down with a file shelf, clipboard history, notes and on-screen text capture. A gallery of more than 70 modules adds timers, a calendar, weather, currency and live numbers from services like Stripe, GitHub and Shopify, all resizable and rearrangeable.
Everything stays on the Mac and there's no account. File Shelf, Clipboard and Notes are free with no time limit. Pro costs $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year for up to 3 Macs, and Lifetime licences start at $39 during launch (until December 1, 2026). Checkout happens inside the app.
"I kept a row of little Mac utilities running and wanted them in one place that stays out of the way. ToolKITZ is that, one drawer at the top of the screen."Mike Johnson, maker of ToolKITZ
ToolKITZ runs on macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. It is a direct download and isn't notarized by Apple, so macOS asks for approval the first time it opens. Download: toolkitz.app
